If you are interested in the On-Site Instructor (OSI) position with Progressive Learning, the job responsibilities include:
· Keep students on task by constantly circulating around the room to assist students with any questions they may have.
· Identify students who are bouncing around from lesson to lesson; not spending adequate time on each lesson. The OSI should discuss it with the student, making sure the student understands the importance of finishing each lesson.
· Send session report with daily attendance attached to Progressive Learning attendance email address.
· Report needs of the students or site in a timely fashion to the Site Supervisor (SS) and to the Master Academic Coach (MAC) assigned to the site
· Attend training on software and Progressive Learning philosophy in computer lab before program starts
· Obtain headphones for computer lab from school district. If materials are unavailable, contact SS immediately
· Prepare the lab daily for each session (hardware & software check, headphone distribution, laptop distribution)
· Be responsible for administration of student pre- and post- assessments
· Monitor and assist students in logging on through the Progressive Learning website
· Maintain effective classroom discipline and ensure student safety during Progressive Learning sessions. Do not leave students unattended.
· Work with the SS in developing incentives for the site
· Awarding incentives
· Organize/supervise end of session celebration
